Krispy Kreme data breach class action settlement: Who is eligible for money?
Summary
Krispy Kreme has agreed to a $1.6 million settlement in a class action lawsuit stemming from a 2024 data breach that compromised the personal information of approximately 161,676 current and former employees. The breach was discovered in November 2024, and affected individuals began receiving notifications in June 2025. While Krispy Kreme denies any wrongdoing, they have agreed to the settlement, which offers class members up to $3,500 in reimbursement for documented losses or a cash payment of around $75.
Eligibility for the settlement is limited to those who were Krispy Kreme employees at the time of the breach. Class members should have received a postcard notice with an ID and PIN; those who did not receive a notice or have lost it can contact the Settlement Administrator for assistance.
Claims must be submitted online or postmarked by June 22, 2026, and the court will decide on final approval at a hearing on July 6, 2026. More information and the claim submission portal can be found at krispykremedatasettlement.com.
