The Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas awarded Chestlen $174,681,212 in compensatory damages following a complex dispute involving construction delays and defect repairs.
The ruling follows a multi-stage legal process, including a five-week bench trial in October 2025 that found Tutor Perini liable for breach of contract and rejected the contractor's counterclaims. A subsequent damages trial held in January 2026 led to the current award. The court also ruled that liquidated damages and pre-judgment interest will continue to accrue until the final judgment is entered.
