The Federal Parastatals and Private Sector Pensioners Association of Nigeria (FEPPPAN) applauded President Bola Tinubu for authorising the liquidation of more than N39 billion in inherited Defined Benefit Scheme pension liabilities, with the settlement of 35‑month arrears owed to 9,675 former NITEL/MTEL employees forming the largest component.
