Walls close in on 'miracle lawyer' Alexandra Lozano who flew around the West Coast in pink private jet

The lawsuit, filed June 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, accuses Seattle attorney Alexandra Lozano Kennedy and her firm La Luz del Camino Legal PLLC of violating the federal RICO Act and Washington’s Consumer Protection Act. Plaintiffs claim the firm targeted undocumented immigrants with promises of legal relief, then steered them into costly immigration applications that had little chance of success. The complaint alleges the firm used a “narrative engineering” approach to mass‑produce humanitarian petitions—such as VAWA self‑petitions and T‑visa applications—without individualized legal evaluation, and that non‑lawyer sales staff made substantive legal determinations while attorneys largely handled interviews and court appearances. Lozano, who marketed herself as the “abogada de los milagros” or “lawyer of miracles,” reportedly used religious imagery, including the Virgen de Guadalupe, to attract clients. Reports say she amassed a multimillion‑dollar real estate portfolio and flew around the West Coast aboard a pink private jet worth about $25 million. She resigned from the Washington State Bar in lieu of discipline on May 26 and was permanently barred from practicing law in the state; USCIS also suspended her from practicing before the Department of Homeland Security and the Board of Immigration Appeals. The lawsuit warns that thousands of former clients may face denied applications, removal proceedings, or financial loss, and urges them to update their mailing addresses and seek copies of their files under the Freedom of Information Act.
