It’s not just the cast, here’s why numerous Love Is Blind crew members have also sued the show

A class-action lawsuit revealed that both cast and crew of Love Is Blind experienced poor working conditions and inadequate pay.

Summary

Numerous cast and crew members of the Netflix show “Love Is Blind” have filed lawsuits against the production company, Kinetic Content, alleging “inhumane working conditions” and insufficient compensation. The initial lawsuit was filed in July 2022 by cast member Jeremey Hartwell, and has since grown into a class-action suit. Plaintiffs claim they were required to work up to 20 hours a day, seven days a week, for a flat rate of $1,000 per week, resulting in an effective hourly wage as low as $7.14—far below the minimum wage. The lawsuit details allegations of being deprived of food and water and being encouraged to drink alcohol on an empty stomach. In December 2024, Netflix settled the lawsuit for $1.4 million, to be distributed among the plaintiffs. Kinetic Content has denied the allegations, stating they have “rigorous protocols in place to care for each person.” Cast member Stacy Snyder recently revealed she received $8,287 from the settlement.
